Covariance has been selected as a pilot partner in the CyberSecDome Open Call, funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No. 101120779).
Through this collaboration, Covariance is implementing SECURE-CLAIM, a pilot focused on strengthening cybersecurity resilience in healthcare insurance claim management systems by integrating the CyberSecDome ecosystem into its AI-driven platform Co-Assess, part of the broader PHIdelity ecosystem.
About the SECURE-CLAIM Pilot
SECURE-CLAIM addresses the growing cybersecurity risks faced by healthcare and insurance infrastructures, where sensitive medical and financial data are continuously exchanged across multiple stakeholders. The pilot integrates advanced CyberSecDome services into Co-Assess to enhance:
- Real-time cyber-threat detection and anomaly monitoring
- Automated incident response and mitigation workflows
- Dynamic cybersecurity risk assessment
- Secure cross-organizational threat intelligence sharing
- Immersive situational awareness through VR-enhanced visualization
The pilot validates CyberSecDome’s full-stack cybersecurity architecture in a real-world, highly regulated insurance environment, ensuring compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and DORA requirements.
What Covariance Is Implementing
As part of the CyberSecDome Open Call, Covariance will:
- Deploy and integrate key CyberSecDome components (Threat Detection Engine, Incident Management System, Dynamic Risk Assessment, Collaborative Threat Intelligence, and VR Interface) into Co-Assess
- Design and execute multiple realistic cyber-attack and fraud scenarios, including ransomware, denial-of-service attacks, coordinated fraud campaigns, and AI model data-poisoning
- Measure cybersecurity performance through well-defined KPIs such as detection accuracy, response time, risk reduction, and operational resilience
- Provide structured technical and operational feedback to the CyberSecDome consortium to support large-scale adoption across critical EU digital infrastructures
Impact
Through SECURE-CLAIM, Covariance contributes to:
- Enhanced protection of sensitive healthcare and insurance data
- Improved trust in AI-driven, automated claims processing
- Reduced financial losses from cyberattacks and coordinated fraud
- Stronger cybersecurity readiness for the European insurance sector
The pilot reinforces Covariance’s commitment to secure, compliant, and trustworthy digital solutions for healthcare and insurance ecosystems, while actively contributing to European research and innovation in cybersecurity.
