DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)

About the Role 

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with mid-level experience to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, improving our Azure DevOps pipelines, and ensuring secure, automated, and reliable deployments across multiple environments. 

This role requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to support cross-functional teams in building robust and scalable systems. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps 

• Manage and operate Dockerized applications within Kubernetes clusters 

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning and configuration 

• Monitor and administer Azure cloud services (Static Web Apps, SQL, VMs, etc.) 

• Establish observability practices, including logging, metrics, and alerting 

• Enhance deployment strategies with rollback and disaster recovery mechanisms 

• Apply and enforce DevSecOps best practices in security and compliance 

• Support development teams by improving environments, workflows, and automation 

Required Qualifications 

• 2–4 years of professional experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role 

• Proven experience with Azure DevOps pipelines 

• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized applications 

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes 

• Solid understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure 

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) 

• Strong background in Linux administration, shell scripting, and networking 

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases 

• Knowledge of message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) 

• Understanding of ISO-27001, OWASP Top 10, and GDPR-related practices 

• Interest in automation, scalability, and platform security
